It's a large-volume pre-mixed which is packed with essence associated with holiday season, making it perfect for hosting a celebration. Reserve the remaining syrup you can use for brunch beverages, sweets, or to mix another batch of this cocktail.

Makes enough for 10 people
For the Clementine Syrup (yields 750ml)
300ml fresh clementine juice
200ml fresh lemon juice
500g fine sugar
To make the Drink (produces 850ml, enough for 10)
400ml good quality vodka
100ml dry gin
150ml peach-flavored liqueur
200ml citrus syrup (from the recipe above)
Whole cranberries, to garnish
Mandarin essential oil, to finish
Method
To prepare the Cordial: Put the listed ingredients in a saucepan, heat until it reaches a gentle boil, mixing to dissolve. Then, turn off the heat allowing it to cool fully. Transfer into an sealable bottle, seal and refrigerate it chilled, where it will keep for around four weeks.
For the Premix: Pour all the spirits and syrup into one large bottle, allow it to infuse for an hour, then strain , ideally through cheesecloth, so it's perfectly clear.
When ready to serve: Add 85ml of the batch mix into a mixing glass packed with ice, and agitate carefully for about 60 seconds to chill. Filter into a cold coupe glass or a similar vessel, top with the cranberries adding the final touch using a quick spritz of mandarin oil over the drink.
